• What does it mean?
A new mesh is much more than just an ordinary recolor. A new mesh is an actual fully new object that will appear in your catalog seperate from other objects and their colors.
  • How does it work?
Download the file, and if it's an object, just place it and any extra recolors that it comes with in your downloads folder or a subfolder. If it's a skin just place the MESH and texture file it comes with into your downloads folder. You cannot subfolder a skin.
  • Can I recolor your mesh?
On this site, any mesh made by jfade can be recolored freely on the following conditions:
    1. You email me and let me know first at jfade#@djssims.com (remove the # sign)
    2. You provide the proper credits and a link back to this site.
For any mesh made by anyone else, see their description for recoloring rules.
  • How do I recolor a new mesh?
For Objects: Run Simpe, and load the Object Workshop. Once that has loaded, click the Load Object tab, and load the package file of the mesh you want to recolor. Make sure color options is selected. Then, your done. It will make you a color package and you can edit it from there. Note that you must redistribute the original mesh file with your recolor for it to work.
For Skins: Load Bodyshop. Find the original texture that uses the mesh you want to recolor in the pictures of available clothes. Proceed like you normally would with recoloring a skin. Once you're finished, zip up your new skin recolor and the original mesh package you downloaded and you're done. Share away. :)
